Laurette Marcia “Laura” Gemser (born 5 October 1950 in Surabaya) is an ex-retired model, Indonesian-Dutch actress and designer of costumes. Her most well-known work is her involvement in Italian film, erotic particularly her Black Emanuelle series. A lot movies were co-productions together with the filmmakers Joe D’Amato and Bruno Mattei.
Gemser is also credited as Moira Chen in several films, including Love Is Forever (1983).
She played Laotian actor Keo Sirisomphone, in the Michael Landon’s 1983 American television movie, Love is Forever, in which she was recognized for her role as Moira Chen. Gemser continued to produce films, sometimes working alongside her actor husband, Gabriele Tinti. In the late 1990s she resigned from film to focus on designing costumes for films.
